• According to very rigorous academic criteria set by its Center for Research & Training (CRT), HHS II selects one student from Grade 11 each summer  to join the Research Summer Institute (RSI) held in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)- USA.
• The Research Summer Institute (RSI) emphasizes advanced theory and research in mathematics, the sciences, and engineering. Students attend college-level classes taught by distinguished professors.
• Nationally recognized teachers conduct classes designed to sharpen research skills. In addition, students complete hands-on research with top mentors at corporations, universities, and research organizations.
• During the summer of 2008, HHS II delegate to M.I.T. was Rafic Itani who worked diligently on a research study to investigate the possibilities of generating electricity via alternative and non-traditional means.
