Country Day for Teachers
Elementary teachers surprised their students during the country day activities prepared for grade two students. They wore the traditional “Abaya” the Lebanese women wear.

Country Day for Grade 2
To emphasize the difference between country and city, grade two students watched a documentary that showed the importance of the city and country on humans and nature. Then, students worked cooperatively to fill in a Venn diagram with some similarities and differences between the two places. After that, students shared a healthy Lebanese breakfast (Manakesh Saj, Labneh, and cheese with delicious vegetables). Finally, students danced Dabkeh and sang songs.

English Presentations for Grade 2
Grade 2 students learned about different cultures of countries. Every student provided information about a certain country and its aspects like costume, traditions and customs, music, art, and food.

Mental Math Competition
During Term 1 of the academic year 2015-2016, fourth graders practiced several mental math techniques to participate in a competition. For each section, a competition had been done in five consecutive days in which each student wrote the answers quickly on a sheet of paper. The winners, of high scores, received certificates, yummy muffins and gifts. Congratulations!!!

English Activity-Grade Five- Parts of Speech
During grammar lessons, students have fun in many ways. In order to learn about the differences between nouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs, students collected word cards. Then, groups identified the parts of speech and competed to place the cards in the suitable place.

Election Day
Last week, students watched a movie about presidents before they were ready to run for grade four presidency. They made posters and hung them all around the playground to encourage their classmates to vote for them. Then, candidates presented their speeches in front of their friends on stage before the voting step. After that, students voted the president who convinced them and teachers announced the name of Grade four winning candidate. Finally, students congratulated the president and accepte

Physics Activity for Grade 7 Students
Grade 7 students were asked to make interviews with teachers and students from grade 8 to 12 in order to make a statistical study on the answers provided to five questions: 1. Could you tell us please the value of your weight? 2. Can you estimate the mass of this pill? 3. Can you estimate the mass of this water bottle? 4. Can you estimate the mass of the school bag? 5. Can you estimate the mass of your car? The aim of this activity is to differentiate between mass and weight and to discuss

Inedependence Day Celebration in KGIII
The children in KGIII celebrated the Independence Day through participating in a variety of age-appropriate activities. They enjoyed their time as they decorated the Independence murals, prepared art crafts, watched a puppet show, and participated in a military training competition, in addition to many other related class activities.
