Here are the Middle & Secondary School Extracurricular Clubs suggested for the academic year 2016-2017. Kindly note that registration for all clubs ends by Friday, November, 11th, 2016 and the clubs will run on Monday, November, 14th, 2016. Parents will be informed which clubs are open after the registration deadline ends. For any further inquiries, please contact the Office for Extracurricular Activities. Ext: 105.

Picnic Day
To enhance the concept of sharing, the children in KGII and KGIII shared their snack with their classmates on Thursday, October 27. They went out to their playground and had a great joy as they were having their snack that was served in a picnic style... Bon apetit!

A Circle of Friends We've joined together as classmates as the new year began... A year full of learning while becomingfriends. We'll share and act kindly as we work and play. And our friendship will grow with each passing day. Welcome back to school,this was the phrase that grade three students have heard the moment they entered their classes.Grade three students were involved in different games and activities to start learning new concepts.

Grade 5- Unforgettable Lessons The lessons we never forget are the ones we learn through activities we enjoy. Grade five students started their year with many enjoyable activities that showed their excitement and enthusiasm. They drew expressive faces, wrote acrostic poems, and drew their essay buses and much more. Stay tuned and wait for more!

Grade Four Activities We do not need magic for magical days at HHS2. Mingling around, group work, pair work and acting out are just enough! Back to fun, back to learning…our lovely Grade Four students were highly motivated at the beginning of this academic school year.

Grade One Can’t Be More Fun!!!! At the beginning of the year, grade one students enjoy the ice breaking activities where they tell about themselves. Moreover, students in character education classes expressed their feelings by drawing facial expressions.

Workshop for Elemenary English Teachers
On Friday, September 2nd, 2016, Ms. Rana Shami Shkeir, the English coordinator in the Elementary School, conducted a workshop to the English language teachers entitled: “extensive reading”. Ms. Shkeir introduced new reading strategies and discussed with the teachers the possibility of implementing them in class.
